Isaac Jabola-Carolus is a Ph.D. Candidate in Sociology at The Graduate Center, City University of New York. He developed the Care Worker Survey as part of his dissertation, “Regulating the Care Boom: Labor Standards and In-Home Care Work in Four U.S. Cities.” The survey examines the workplace experiences of paid caregivers, home care aides, housecleaners, housekeepers, and nannies/childcare workers. It aims to enhance understanding of how the rights of in-home care workers can be better protected.
